Feng Shui quite literally translates as 'Wind Water' bringing to mind the two life-sustaining forces of nature. Without water and air (wind) life would not exist. Using Feng Shui, we seek to enhance the flow of chi, or vital life force, through our living and work environments, enabling it to nourish and support our desires and aspirations.
There are a number of different Feng Shui traditions. The one practiced at Transform! is referred to as BTB Feng Shui (Black Sect Tantric Buddhist), taking our modern, western lifestyle into account and using a modified version of the Bagua map to determine specific areas within your space. In some schools of Feng Shui, the Bagua is placed in reference to compass points however in BTB the reference is the main entrance to the home or office. Another aspect of BTB is the emphasis placed on intention. We use the power of intention to shift the energy which gives rise to the desired changes in our lives. By making use of symbolic energy cures and enhancements, we can turn our spaces into sanctuaries, reducing stress and minimizing the chaos of the outside world.
